This exhibition features works by survivors of violence who participated in the Art4empowerment Program at The Women's Center of Carbondale, IL and invited artists who themselves are survivors. Written statements about the emotional transformations that occurred during their creation supplement art works. Click here to see pictures from the opening reception.
